| The diecasting cells at Mett are of the most advanced technology available. Our diecasting machines from Switzerland range from 400 to 1400 metric tonnes clamping pressure with shot control, squeeze facility and closed loop process control. Integrated into these cells are sealed dosing furnaces, high precision 2-axis CNC spray units, 6-axis robots and fully automated, in-house designed and manufactured trim presses. |

| Support equipment provides 4.5 metric tonnes of melting capacity per hour and finishing facilities to offer vibratory or shot peen finishes as part of the diecasting plant. | |

4-Axis CNC machining centres together with automated assembly and testing equipment are installed in a modern environment to achieve high precision and on-going capability in machining and assembled product. All areas are supported by highly experienced technical staff and skilled operating teams. |
Our sister company, Hilton Tooling, is renowned for precision tooling and supplies to prestigious markets around the globe. Through Hilton Tooling, Mett can support customer projects from tool design, 3D-modelling, prototyping, solidification simulation to CAD/CAM based die manufacturing. To facilitate cost reduction and shorter lead times, customer's design data and 3D CAD models can be directly transferred via e-mail to our Unigraphics / IDEAS systems. We also support translators such as IGES from other CAD systems. |
